The West Bodega Bay Boat Works is a one inch scale scratch built structure.

A light coat of Rustall was applied to the metal gas pump. The plastic boat propellers had three coats of Rustall applied and one coat of #2 BLACKWASH

Signage is dry transfer lettering with a wash of white paint and a wash of Weatherall to age the letters.

The roof is made of wood and Rustall was applied before construction followed buy one coat of #2 BLACKWASH to bring out detail.

The sides of the building were painted with water based white and given a coat of Weatherall to age the wood.

The saw horse is scratch built with several coats of Weatherall over the unpainted wood.

A toothbrush was used to simulate paint spatters. Weatherall was used on all wood and the Boat Rental signage.

A wash of #1 RUST was applied to the propeller and buckets.

A light coat of water based white was applied to the door followed by one coat of Weatherall .

The windows were aged with a few coats of #3 DEADFLAT.

The plastic chair is from Chrysnbon and was painted gray with a light wash of white overall. Weatherall was applied to age and bring out detail.

The trash box has several coats of Weatherall. Nails were simulated with a hard, sharp pencil and #1 RUST solution was applied and allowed to run. #1 RUST was applied to the trash and washed with #2 BLACKWASH.

The rubber tire was aged with several coats of #3 DEADFLAT and dusted with #4 DUST.

Valve was painted several coats of gloss white and allowed to dry.Chips in the paint were made with a sharp blade and #1 RUST weathering solution was applied and allowed to run.

The one inch scale "Old Country Truck©" is scratch built. Call it the family junker or the farm workhorse. Either way, The Old Country Truck© has seen better days.

From the remnants of original paint showing through the rusted body, to it's broken headlight and worn tires, The Old Country Truck© is truly a piece of junk.

The truck bed is aged to simulate hard use. The rusted muffler is held in place with the finest baling wire.

The Old Country Truck© comes with a vintage gas can, two weathered produce crates, a vintage battery and one worn shovel.
